Are you passionate about science and eager to share your knowledge with the world? Do you have groundbreaking ideas, fascinating research, or inspiring insights that deserve to be heard? Then we invite you to be a part of the 8th edition of Berlin Science Week, a ten-day celebration of knowledge and innovation happening from 1st to 10th November 2023!
This year, Berlin Science Week is back, bigger and better than ever, with a plethora of exciting events lined up. One of the highlights is the CAMPUS, a two-day festival held on 3rd and 4th November, where the magnificent Museum für Naturkunde Berlin will transform into a hub of networking, discussion, discovery, and debate. The theme for this year’s CAMPUS is “Dare to Know: Our Narratives, Our Futures,” promising thought-provoking and insightful conversations.
We are thrilled to announce that our event will be hosted at the CAMPUS on November 4th from 1 to 3 pm. Our focus will be on “The Science of Nightlife/Parties,” exploring topics like the biology behind body movement and dancing, the neuroscience of happiness, the psychology of group dynamics, and much more. It promises to be a captivating and enlightening experience that will shed light on the science behind our favorite social gatherings.
But that’s not all!
This year’s Berlin Science Week introduces the ART & SCIENCE FORUM, which will take place throughout the entire festival at the iconic Holzmarkt 25, located along the Spree riverbank. With the theme “Dare to Know: Creative Science, Precise Art,” this forum will showcase science-inspired shows, pop-up performances, exhibitions, and numerous other awe-inspiring events, concluding with a grand ‘Science-of-the-Party’ celebration.
Our event will also be a part of a unique collaboration, as we join forces with the collective LGBTQ+ STEM Berlin. Together, we aim to promote diversity and inclusivity in the world of science, offering a platform for all voices and perspectives to be heard.
